By employing precise cryogenic freezing techniques, we can safely store and preserve sperm, embryos, vaccines, DNA, spinal cord tissue and blood products in optimal condition for storage and transport. This advanced method provides a reliable solution for both small and large volumes and is ideally suited for a wide range of applications.

Oxygen detection devices

Working with hazardous gases demands maximum safety. Our handheld monitors provide the perfect solution for continuously measuring gas concentrations in temporary work environments. These portable monitors are suitable for various gases, including oxygen (critical when working with nitrogen, which displaces oxygen) and CO₂.

Annual calibration for reliable measurements

To ensure optimal performance, we recommend an annual calibration of the monitors. During this process, the device is thoroughly inspected and recalibrated, ensuring you can always rely on accurate measurements and a safe working environment.

Storage containers

Depending on your needs and requirements, we have different types of storage systems in our range of MVE.

MVE SC series 

The MVE SC series offers compact and durable aluminium dewars, ideal for efficient cryogenic storage. With low nitrogen consumption and a long shelf life of up to 365 days, these lightweight tanks are suitable for a variety of applications. They feature a sturdy, tamper-proof lid, an improved vacuum system and the innovative Bend Don't Break™ Technology (available in the SC 20/20 Signature). The range is available in several models with a standard neck opening of 55 mm and a capacity of up to 36.5 litres.

MVE SC-Series (pdf)

MVE XC series

The MVE XC series offers large storage capacity for 700 to more than 5,000 straws and 210 to 1,000+ vials. These lightweight, durable tanks combine low nitrogen consumption with a user-friendly design. The variety of models allows neck opening and storage capacity to be tailored to specific needs. The tanks are equipped with a sturdy vacuum system, tamper-proof lid, and Bend Don't Break™ Technology (available in the XC 20 Signature).

MVE ET series 

The MVE ET series offers cost-effective dewars designed specifically for use on farms and by KI technicians. With advanced vacuum technology and low liquid-nitrogen consumption, these lightweight tanks retain their contents for 8 to 12 weeks. Features include a lockable lid, a carrying handle (for models ET-2 to ET-16) and a two-year vacuum warranty. They comply with the EU medical devices directive (MDD 93/42/EEC).

MVE Lab series

The MVE Lab series offers efficient and reliable storage of liquid nitrogen in lightweight and compact aluminium dewars. With capacities ranging from 4 to 50 litres and an advanced vacuum system, they minimise nitrogen losses. Optional accessories such as pouring spouts and CryoTippers facilitate safe and easy transfer. The dewars are ideal for refilling cement tanks and other applications requiring liquid nitrogen.

MVE Doble series

The MVE Doble series combines secure cryogenic shipping and storage in one. Thanks to fast QWick™ Charge Technology, dewars are ready for transport within two hours, with a shelf life of up to 21 days. Suitable for liquid and vapour storage, lightweight, and IATA-approved.

MVE Spectrum series

The MVE Spectrum series offers a compact and durable solution for storing bull semen. Thanks to the Bend Don't Break™ Technology and the reinforced Semen Safe™ neck, the tanks are robust and resistant to transport. Moreover, they consume little liquid nitrogen, ideal for long-term storage.

Dry shippers

The MVE Vapor Shipper series is specially designed for safe transport of biological samples at cryogenic temperatures (-150°C or lower). With the advanced QWick™ Charge Technology, tanks are ready for vapour transport within two hours. The lightweight, durable aluminium tanks have a leak-proof, dry transport function thanks to hydrophobic nitrogen absorption. Suitable for international shipping with a "non-hazardous" classification according to IATA regulations, the range offers low nitrogen consumption and robust protection during transport.
